Digital and independent: the Foundation’s mission

Art Foundation Pax is a foundation that supports the digital and visual arts and is sponsored by Pax. It was launched at the end of 2017 and since then has presented the Pax Art Awards every year.

Pax is committed to philanthropic activities in accordance with its cooperative roots. Art Foundation Pax will continue the company’s long-standing tradition of collecting art and constitutes a valuable element of our corporate culture. The Foundation focuses on the digital arts, which have been providing new stimuli since the 1990s.

Targeted and effective: the Foundation’s funding

Pax has chosen to use the foundation format to provide independent and effective support for the relatively young and versatile digital arts sector. Art Foundation Pax has been allocated sufficient funding to guarantee the Foundation’s activities for the next decade.
